I would like to preface this by saying that this car was purchased brand new in March 2025. I have never experienced such poor service and incompetence from a dealership service department in my life. Since July 9, my Chevy has been in and out of their shop three times (soon to be four) for serious transmission and electrical issues—none of which have been resolved. The car first broke down when the transmission started sticking and couldn’t get over 20 mph. After nine days in the shop (with no loaner vehicle, despite the fact that I rely on my car for work travel and to care for my elderly father), I was told bolts were loose in the transmission and there was a leak. I used the car once, left for work, and within a day of driving again, the issues came back worse—screens flashing, car refusing to move. From there, it became a cycle: drop off the car, get vague or delayed updates (sometimes a week late), pick it up with no real repair done, and have it break down almost immediately. I’ve been told there’s “no leak” even though fluid is mysteriously low, that it’s just a “communications” issue, and now, as of August 14, the screens are going black while I’m driving. This is clearly unsafe and still unresolved. At this point the lack of urgency, accountability, or basic communication from Chevy’s service team is shocking. I expect better from any brand—let alone one that advertises dependability. If you value your time, your money, and most importantly your safety, think twice before trusting your vehicle to Chevy’s service department.
